About this product:

Firebuster Bust-It is a Class "B" intumescent clear fire-protective interior varnish for natural wood finishes.  

Recommended Application

Apply two coats Base Kote and one coat Finish Kote (gloss or semi-gloss).  8 gallons.  Base Kote and 2 1/2 gallons.  Finish Kote required per 1000 sq ft.  Apply over dry, sealed surfaces only.
