About this product:
Firemen's Fire Retardant Solvent Paint
is a solvent flat paint that is ideal for wood interiors. It is
intumescent and an organic-solvent type, low sheen paint.
Recommended Surface Preparation
Surfaces to be painted should be
clean, free of grease and oil. Wire-brush to remove old non-adhering
paint. Apply undercoat if Firebuster Fire Retardant Paint will be applied
in one coat only.
Recommended Application
Stir thoroughly. Apply
Firebuster Fire Retardant Paint by spray, roller or brush. For maximum
protectiuon two coats of Firebuster Fire Retardant Paint should be applied
within 24 hours drying time between coats.
Thinning
Use Firebuster Fire Retardant
Paint as it comes from the can. If thinning is necessary, use thinner
sparingly. Standard 330 Thinner required. Clean equipment with
paint thinner.
Coverage
Maximum protection is provided if
Firebuster Fire Retardant Paint is applied in two coats, each coat to cover 300
sq ft per gallon.
Tinting
Use Tennecco Ultra Tinting Colors
for Oil Base Paint. Maximum tinting colors 2 ounces per gallon.
